The Po' Ramblin' Boys

The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys are a hard driving, traditional bluegrass band. Established in 2014, they began as a house band at Ole Smoky Moonshine in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and have since been nominated for a Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album (2019’s Toil, Tears & Trouble) and five times for the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Entertainer of the Year award. They were named IBMA Emerging Artist of the Year in 2018. The band is C.J. Lewandowski on mandolin, Jereme Brown on banjo and Jasper Lorentzen on bass, with its newest members, John Gooding on guitar and Max Silverstein on fiddle. The title track of Wanderers Like Me (Smithsonian Folkways, 2024) was their first No. 1 song on the Bluegrass Unlimited chart. They have made two albums with Jim Lauderdale, The Long and Lonesome Letting Go (2023) and The Birds Know (2026), and their new album, Welcome to the Club, came out on Turnberry Records on August 21, 2026.
